The terrain in the area provides opportunities to train on a variety of obstacles. Some of the features around the training area includes: Big Piney Creek, Little Piney Creek, Illinios Bayou, numerous other small creeks and streams, Ozark National Forest, Arkansas River, numerous hiking trails and camping areas, and urban/suburban work.

Topics will include areas such as: scent theory, scent article collection & preservation, case law, canine first aid and search scene safety. Handlers will be expected to work together in the field to address any areas of concern a particular team might want to address during the course of the weekend.

Meals will be provided to all participants throughout the weekend. This will include: 1 meal Friday evening, 3 meals Saturday, 3 meals Sunday, and 2 meals Monday.

Lodging for all participants attending the weekend will be located at Camp Caudle, Scottsville, Pope County, Arkansas. Participants will be staying in cabins on the camp grounds.
